Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners is a multiple winner at the 2019 Legalcommunity Energy Awards

Milan, January 31, 2019 – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners received a number of accolades last night during the 2019 Legalcommunity Energy Awards. It took home the prestigious “Law Firm of the Year Energy” while Francesco Puntillo was named “Lawyer of the Year Oil & Gas”.


In addition, the Terra Firma transaction followed by our Energy team won "Deal of the Year".


The gala evening took place in Milan at the "Spirit de Milan" in front of over 700 participants, among which several members and associates of the firm’s Energy Department, who collected the awards.


In awarding this prize, the jury stated:


- Law Firm of the Year Energy: A firm that knows how to make a difference in transactions of this sector. A high profile team, involved in all the main market deals, able to manage every aspect always at the highest level.


- Lawyer of the Year Oil & Gas - Francesco Puntillo: Numerous and unanimous opinions about him: a decisive and resolute protagonist for the positive closing of transactions that matter. This year he was involved in one of the most important Oil and Gas industry deals in Italy of recent years.


- Deal Of The Year - Terra Firma: The “2018 Deal of the year" is the acquisition by F2i of the Italian photovoltaic assets held by RTR Rete Rinnovabile of the Terra Firma fund.
