Rome – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners has been crowned “ “Law Firm of the Year – Italy” at the 2012 The Lawyer European Awards.
The award was delivered last night during a ceremony held in Monte Carlo in front of an audience comprising leading members of the international legal community.
Besides winning the award, the firm was also highly commended in the European Law Firm of the Year category for its lateral hires - among which Corporate and M&A expert Roberto Cappelli and his team - as well as for its participation in numerous high profile transactions.
The Lawyer European Awards are given by an independent, International jury composed of senior General Counsel, managing Partners and senior partners.
This international award is one of the many the firm has received in the last couple of months. Recently it was crowned "Law Firm of the Year" at the 2012 Chambers Awards for Excellence, “Best Italian Law Firm 2012" at The Legal Alliance Summit & Awards and “Law Firm of the Year” at both the 2011 Top Legal Awards and at the 2011 IFLR Awards.
