Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners launches new Luxembourg Desk

July 12, 2018

Rome, July 12, 2018 – International law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners announces the launch of a new Luxembourg desk.

The desk strengthens the firm’s already formidable capability to assist clients in their transactions involving Luxembourg. Led by partner Emanuele Grippo, the desk comprises a team of lawyers who are experts in corporate law, capital markets, collective asset management, investment services, banking and tax, and aims at offering its Italian and overseas clients complete and integrated legal support in the financial sector, drawing on a concrete presence in the Luxembourg market.

The Luxembourg Desk supports the already active geographical focus teams dedicated to Africa, China, Korea, India, Russia and Turkey, further enhancing the firm’s international strength, which includes offices in Abu Dhabi, Brussels, Hong Kong, London, New York and Shanghai, recently inaugurated.

Rosario Zaccà, Co-Managing Partner of the firm states: "Our strategy of closely supporting clients with our skills and in-depth knowledge of the markets in which they operate, has been the basis of GOP’s growth since the beginning. This vision has led us to become an extremely dynamic firm in terms of internationalization, as proven by the recent opening of our office in Shanghai, a direction that we are sure to continue in the future."

Emanuele Grippo, Partner of the Financial Markets department of Gianni, Origoni Grippo, Cappelli & Partners and head of the Luxembourg Desk adds: "Brexit is redesigning the geography of the new banking and financial centres in Europe. Luxembourg, in particular, is destined to play an increasingly central role in the creation and management of investment vehicles as well as in the interests of financial and insurance institutions. At present the firm already occupies an important position in these dynamics; the launch of the Luxembourg Desk allows us to deepen our presence in an area that already boasts consolidated business relationships with our country, to the benefit of our clients as well as the Italian financial and business sector".
