Roberto De Simone was involved in many major transactions, often with a particular focus on the real estate industry. He provided legal advice to both domestic and foreign clients in the acquisition and dismissal of companies and/or assets, mergers and de-mergers, joint ventures and consortia, development and management of real estate projects, as well as in the spin-off of real estate portfolios also through the creation of closed-end real estate investment funds and lease-back of instrumental assets. Moreover, he advised in the negotiation and drafting of the contractual arrangements usually available for the real estate investments (e.g. deeds of sale, leasing, commercial leases, sale and lease of going concern, construction contracts and service agreements, etc.). During his professional career, he also advised and litigated before courts and in arbitration proceedings.
After graduating in Law from the University LUISS Guido Carli in Rome in 1998, Roberto received his LL.M. (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, which awarded him the “11 Kings Bench Walk Prize, Corporate and Securities Law”.
He has also worked in the London office of Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners.
He is admitted to the Italian Bar.
He speaks Italian, English and French.
