Luigia Bersani mainly works on intellectual property, art and cultural heritage law matters. Previously she has worked for important law firms in Rome and Milan. She graduated in 2009 from Università degli Studi di Roma 3 with full marks, she has achieved the second level Master in European Union law from the same University and the Ph.D. in international law, with thesis on the international protection of cultural rights, from the Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata”. She has also obtained the Master in “Management dell’Arte e dei Beni Culturali” from the Business School of Sole 24 Ore. Luigia is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Società Italiana per la Protezione dei Beni Culturali (SIPBC) and of the international committee ICLAFI (International Scientific Committee on Legal, Administrative and Financial Issues) of ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites).
She is author of certain publications and she has delivered lectures at seminars and conferences in the field of copyright and cultural heritage law.
She is registered to the Bar Association of Rome.
She speaks Italian, English and French.
