Francesco Alongi works in the Antitrust and Regulatory Department.
Before joining the Firm, Francesco worked in primary law firms based in Bologna and Rome, assisting clients in antitrust proceedings opened by the Italian Competition Authority, as well as in the appeal proceedings before the administrative courts. He carried out a traineeship at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission in Brussels, at the Cartels Directorate.
Francesco graduated in Law magna cum laude from the University of Bologna in 2010. He obtained a Master’s Degree in EU Law and Economics from the Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne in 2012 and a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Milan in 2017.
Francesco is a member of the Rome Bar.
He speaks Italian, English and French.
