Federico Botta specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, leverage buy-out, venture capital, joint-venture. He assists private equity funds, companies and multinationals in acquisition and financing transactions, including cross-border ones, often acting as a point of contact for the Italian aspects of multi-jurisdiction transactions. He also has solid experience in corporate and commercial law. He has been involved in transactions (on behalf of private equity funds and operating entities) concerning industrial and banking targets, taking care not only of the M&A part but also of the regulatory part. He represents Italian and foreign investment banks and private equity funds in public tenders and privatisations.
After graduating in Law from the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, he earned a Master of Laws from the University of Virginia in the United States.
He joined the firm in 2001.
Federico is a member of the Italian Bar and the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).
