Gianni & Origoni

All our professionals in the IP department have strong and recognized experience in managing cross-border trademark litigation. Alongside the mainstream litigation function, dispute avoidance and management of potential contentious claims is furthered by detailed advice and legal opinions.

We also have considerable skills and experience in the field of protection of industrial designs, viewed as a very valuable commercial asset within the Italian economy.

Our services include:
- Litigation in the field of registered and unregistered trademarks, domain names and industrial design;
- Interception and destruction of infringements in cooperation with Customs authorities through the activation of the suspension proceedings set out by EU Regulation No. 608/2013;
- Advice on trademark and industrial design protection;
- Drafting of license, sponsorship, merchandising and franchising agreements;
- Drafting of agreements for the establishment of security interests over trademarks;
- Corporate consultancy including due diligence activities.
