Our highly specialised lawyers have a strong recognition on the market. In 2011 the Energy group was awarded for the second year in a row “Team of the Year” at the Top Legal Awards. In the same year the “Terna” deal - the largest portfolio and staple PV financing in Europe to date - was crowned “Renewable Deal of the Year” at the PFI Awards and it was also crowned “European Solar PV Deal of the Year” at the prestigious Project Finance Deals of the Year Awards. In 2010 the “Rovigo” deal – regarding the construction of the largest photovoltaic plant in Europe – was crowned "Power Deal of the Year" at the Project Finance Deals of the Year Awards. In 2009 two other important deals in which we were involved won the 2009 Project Finance Awards. In particular, the acquisition of Enel Rete Gas won the “European Oil & Gas Deal of the Year” and the financing of the 24MW PV plant of Sunray in Montalto di Castro won the “European Solar Deal of the Year”. In 2006 the "Siciliaenergia Waste to Energy" deal was awarded ‘Power Deal of the Year’ at the PFI Awards and in 2004 another important project followed by our Firm (the financing of the general contractor for the Salerno-Reggio Calabria Motorway) was recognized “Deal of the Year - European Contractor Finance EMEA” by the international magazine Project Finance.
