Alfonso Parziale focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border banking transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, debt restructuring and NPL transactions. He has extensive experience in banking and finance law, with a focus on distressed debt transactions.
He graduated cum laude in law from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in 2010. He also obtained a Ph.D. in Business Law in 2017 and has been appointed Research Fellow (assegnista di ricerca) at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" (2020 - 2023).
Prior to joining the firm's London office, Alfonso worked in the Rome office of Gianni & Origoni from 2010 to 2023.
Alfonso is also adjunct professor (professore a contratto) at the Università LUM “Jean Monnet” in Bari and the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. He teaches corporate finance law and financial market law and regulation.
Alfonso is the author of several publications on banking and financial matters, investment services, derivatives, NPLs, financial transactions and guarantees, and co-author of the firm's book "Contratti di finanziamento bancario, di investimento, assicurativi e derivati", published by Ipsoa Wolter Kluwer.
Alfonso is also the Chair of the Anti-doping review panel of the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Modern (International Modern Pentathlon Union).
He is a member of the Italian Bar since 2015.
He speaks Italian and English.
