Claudio specialises in banking & finance and has acquired extensive experience in private banking, in the setting up and administering of trusts and in all matters related to compliance and anti-money laundering regulations. He is an expert in family law and assists private clients in a wide range of tax and legal services.
Claudio joined the firm in 2013 as Co-Head of the Wealth & Trust Department.
Prior to his joining, Claudio was Senior Partner and Managing Director of Banca Esperia. Previously he was a lawyer in a top international firm and covered the role of General Secretary of Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock Exchange) and of Chief Executive of the Italian branch of Republic National Bank of New York. Other important offices held during his career to date have been within Mediocredito Centrale, Forfex (Trade Development Bank) and IMI Group.
Claudio was a member of AIBE (the Association of foreign banks) and of the Export Credit Commission of Confindustria (the Confederation of Italian Industries).
He holds a law degree from the University of Rome and is a member of the Italian Bar.
He speaks Italian and English.
