Sue Yang
Associate

A member of the China Desk, Sue Yang has gained significant experience in corporate, commercial law and commercial transactions with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments in Greater China and other markets, including transactions in technology, media, telecommunications, financial, healthcare, consumer product, real property, sports, manufacturing and other industries.

Before joining the firm in September 2018, she worked as an associate for a prestigious wall street law firm in its Beijing and Hong Kong offices, and as an of-counsel for an important international law firm’s Hong Kong office.

After graduating in 2003 at the Peking University in Beijing, Sue obtained a Master of Common Law from The University of Hong Kong and a LL.M. from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 2005. In 2018 she obtained the Diploma of Foundations of Western Art from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.

She is Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and Attorney-at-law admitted with the Supreme Court of New York. 

She speaks Mandarin (native language), English, Cantonese, Italian and German.
