We are one of the most prominent Italian legal advisors for privatisation transactions, through which government-controlled companies become privately run companies. Since the early 1990s, when the Italian era of privatizations began, we were involved in these types of transactions, and handled the first ever privatization in Italy.
Over the years, we have continued to play a leading role in privatizations, providing counsel to the Italian Government and its financial advisors, to companies being privatized and to private sector purchasers. This allowed us to gain a wide experience in public/private sector transactions, from public offerings to private placement, to bids.
