Alessio Palumbo joined the Firm in 2023 in the Banking & Finance department.
Alessio has a long and consolidated experience in transfer of receivables and more generally in structured finance. With reference to the latter, he mainly deals with securitisation transactions, assisting domestic and international banks in performing and non-performing loans transactions. He assisted originators and arrangers in the context of derisking transactions with very high systemic value. He also has extensive experience in securitisations in restructuring context, real estate securitisations and in securitization transactions purported to acquire the companies' shareholdings, as well as in basket bond and covered bonds transactions.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, he worked in leading Italian and international law firms.
Alessio graduated in Law, cum laude, from the University of Salento in 2009. After that, he obtained an LL.M in Corporate Law from 24ORE Business School.
He is a member of the Italian Bar Association.
He speaks Italian and English.
