Maria Pia has been with the firm since 2021, within the tax department. She mainly carries out activities in the field of direct and indirect taxes, in national and international taxation and in tax litigation.
She received her master's degree in law from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome in 2022 with a thesis on VAT-exempt transactions in banking and insurance. During her last year of university, she was selected to participate in the international project "Eucotax Wintercourse," held in Valencia, through the drafting of a paper on "Taxpayers' Rights in the XXI Century (Looking For a Global Taxpayers' Statute After Beps) - Effective judicial protection and tax law: fundamental rights recognition in tax matters (domicile, property, public hearing, transparency)".
She is enrolled as trainee lawyer with the Italian Bar (Rome).
She speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
