Carmen Adele Pisani has extensive experience in domestic and international tax law. She advises major multinational companies, Italian and foreign investment funds and institutional investors on M&A transactions, the structuring and implementation of real estate investments, project finance transactions and other structured finance transactions. She regularly advises multinational groups wishing to implement incentive plans for their employees, managers and key personnel and has significant experience in structuring management incentive plans in private equity transactions. Her areas of expertise include tax litigation.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, she worked for a tax law firm in Milan.
She graduated in Law with an academic major in Corporate Law, Financial Markets and Competition at Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' in Milan in 2013. In 2011, she was selected for the exchange programme at Duke University School of Law (USA).
Carmen obtained the Adv. LL.M. in International Tax Law from the International Tax Center of Leiden University (the Netherlands) in 2017 and she attended the Academy of American and International Law in Texas (USA) in 2019.
Carmen is also one of the authors of several publications, among which the books “Contratti di finanziamento bancario, di investimento, assicurativi e derivati” (IPSOA WKI Editore) and “I disallineamenti da ibridi” (CEDAM). She is a panelist at tax conferences and a lecturer at post-graduate courses in international tax law.
She is a member of the Italian Bar since 2015.
She speaks Italian and English.
