Marta Barretta provides assistance on environmental law, especially on regulatory issues related to air emission, wastewater discharges, waste management, clean-up procedures, authorization and permit proceedings. She has also gained experience in the field of the development of projects for the production of electricity from renewable sources.
In 2019, Marta graduated from Bocconi University of Milan with a research thesis entitled “The relationship between international arbitration and antitrust law”.
She was selected to participate to the Themis Program, spending a semester at the Vienna University of Economic and Business (Austria) from September 2017 to February 2018, where she attended courses on European Union Law, International IT Law, International and European Corporate Law, International Private Law, International Arbitration and M&A. At the end of the Themis Program, also following her attendance of a seminar cycle on Law and Corruption, which was held in St. Gallen University (Switzerland), and the conclusion of a three-month internship in a primary international law firm, she was awarded the International Themis Certificate.
She is a member of the Italian Bar Association.
She speaks Italian, English and German.
