Artificial Intelligence systems are being used with increasing frequency in the production and dissemination of both informational and entertainment content. 

This development raises the possibility that the discrimen between informational content (at least as we have understood it so far) and entertainment content will become increasingly blurred.

Legislators are trying to keep pace with technological advancements by introducing laws and regulations, both at national and EU levels, that aim to regulate the various aspects of the phenomenon and to balance the interests of the parties involved: from providers and users of AI systems to providers of audiovisual media services to those of large online platforms.
But all of this begs the question: what are the actual outcomes?
