GOP International Academy launches its second edition

May 12, 2025

London, 12 May 2025 – GOP International Academy is back with a brand-new edition which will take place in Senate House, University of London, from the 21 to 25 of July.

International law firm Gianni & Origoni renews its educational initiative for the second year and launches a new course as part of the Academy.
A dedicated website has also been created, where Italian lawyers and solicitors can find information and easily submit their applications.

The 2025 summer course will be on “International trade under Trump’s second term”, and it will explore how the evolving patterns of global trade are reshaping law, international trade policies and economic relations.

As in its previous edition, GOP International Academy will consist of five lectures on each day of the week (Monday to Friday), from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The programme will also feature immersive experiences within both the legal framework and vibrant setting of London, including networking events, a legal walk, privileged access to beautiful venues and guided visits to some of the most iconic landmarks and social clubs.

Also this second edition of the GOP International Academy is supported by the National Bar Council, the Higher School of Advocacy, the Law Society of England and Wales and the Bar Council.
At the end of the course, Italian participants will be awarded 20 CPD points (20 training credits), as recognised by the National Bar Council.

The 2025 course is dedicated to the memory of Professor Guido Alpa, who passed away in Genoa in March of this year.
Alpa was a key figure in the legal framework: in 2006, while serving as president of the National Bar Council, he initiated the training course for lawyers that the GOP International Academy then developed.
