Silvia Lazzati assists Italian and international clients – including banks, funds, developers and contractors – in the development, acquisition and financing of energy (photovoltaic, wind, biogas, biomass, hydropower, natural gas cogeneration, storage, energy efficiency) and infrastructure projects, actively contributing to the structuring and successful execution of major transactions in the Italian energy sector. She has developed solid expertise in the permitting, regulatory and contractual aspects related to the development, acquisition and financing of renewable energy plants, storage systems, construction and infrastructure projects, as well as in managing complex litigation in the energy field and, more broadly, in administrative law matters.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, she began her career at a renowned boutique law firm led by a university professor specializing in administrative law, where she deepened her knowledge of urban planning, construction and public takings, and took part in conferences and academic activities. She then strengthened her professional background at a leading law firm based in Milan, providing specialist advice in the areas of public procurement, urban planning, public employment, healthcare and public transport. Since 2021, she has expanded her practice internationally, working with global law firms focused on cross-border transactions and large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects.
She graduated in Law from the University of Insubria of Como in 2014.
She has been a member of the Italian Bar Association since 2017.
She speaks Italian and English.
