Luca Marzolla specializes in banking and finance law and deals with structured finance transactions, with particular reference to the securitization of impaired loans (NPLs and UTPs) and the negotiation of loan transfer agreements.
He assists banks, financial intermediaries, and institutional investors in structuring and negotiating complex transactions, handling the preparation of contractual documentation.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, he worked with law firms specializing in banking and financial markets law, also dealing with litigation relating to financial derivatives and improper banking practices.
He graduated with honors from the University of Turin with a thesis on “Blockchain: law and finance” and studied for a period in Japan at Seinan Gakuin University (西南学院大学).
He is a member of the Italian Bar Association.
He speaks Italian and English.
