Norman Pepe is an experienced and commercially minded business lawyer. His practice encompasses banking and structured finance, with a focus on residential and commercial mortgage-backed securitization transactions, distressed portfolios, non-performing loans, principal finance and real estate finance transactions.
Norman’s clients include primary investment banks, international investment funds, primary Italian banks, rating agencies and servicers.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, he worked for over 15 years in leading Italian and international law firms in Milan and London before setting up his own boutique law firm in 2018.
He graduated cum laude in Law at the University of Florence in 2000.
He has authored multiple publications, including the following: “A Legal Study of Real Estate Securitisation”, in Diritto Bancario, June 2020 and “The Securitisation of Future Receivables through Destined Financing Loans”, in Contratto e Impresa, 6, 2011.
He is a member of the Italian Bar Association, and he is Solicitor in England and Wales.
He speaks Italian and English.
