Matteo Lorusso specialises in administrative law, with a particular focus on public procurement, energy and infrastructure, providing legal assistance and advice, both in and out of court, to domestic and international companies as well as public authorities.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, he worked at a leading Italian law firm dealing with public contracts, with a specific focus on the telecommunications sector, also providing advice on related regulatory aspects. He also had the opportunity to work with the Privacy and Data Governance department on issues relating to the use of artificial intelligence systems.
He writes articles and contributions on automated administrative procedures and on the use of AI in public procurement.
In 2023, he graduated with honours with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Milan.
He is a member of the Italian Bar Association.
He speaks Italian, English and French.
