Maria Panetta specialises in project finance. She advises primary financial institutions and sponsors both in project financing and general contractor transactions, mainly dealing with financial issues.
Maria is well experienced also in acquisition and leverage transactions.
She graduated in law from the University “La Sapienza” of Rome in 1994. Maria then attended the English Legal Methods Course at the University of Cambridge in 1998 and earned a Masters in Banking and Finance from the University of London, Queen Mary College.
Before joining the firm, Maria worked in leading law firms, both Italian and international.
She is the author of various publications in commercial and banking law.
She is a member of the Italian Bar since 1997.
