Umberto Parmigiani specialises in commercial and corporate litigation as well as in litigation before special jurisdictions. He assists Italian and multinational companies in both ordinary and arbitration disputes, including emergency proceedings.
Previously, he worked for two international law firms, gaining significant experience in corporate advisory and M&A transactions, along with competition law. Umberto also spent a period as visiting lawyer at the Essex Court Chambers in London, a leading set of barristers' chambers specialised in international and investment arbitrations.
Graduated in Law from the University of Genoa in 2013, Umberto participated in the Erasmus Program in 2011/2012 AY, studying at the Catholic University of Leuven. Furthermore, he obtained an LL.M. in Business & Company law: European and international perspectives at LUISS Guido Carli in 2018, collaborating with Director and coordinators of the program as tutor.
He is member of the Italian Bar and fellow of YAF (Young Arbitrator Forum of the ICC), YIAG (Young International Arbitration Group of the LCIA), Young ICCA, and AIA - Arbit Below 40.
He speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
