The new practice area confirms Gianni & Origoni's ability to engage with the constant reshaping of the legal profession’s boundaries through careful analysis of the evolving needs of Clients - private companies and government bodies – and offering a wide range of cross-cutting skills and knowledge. The practice’s development will leverage on the experience that the firm has been gaining over the past few years in space law and the space economy sector, into which institutions, as well as Italian and foreign large groups and start-ups, have been placing significant resources and investment.
Antonio Auricchio, Co-Managing Partner of Gianni & Origoni, comments: “We are proud to launch this innovative practice, among the first in Europe, through which we will be able to help clients navigate the evolving and increasingly competitive sector that is the space economy. This is the end result of a precise vision that has always characterized the firm's strategies: the ability to pursue and service clients’ needs, even in extremely advanced fields such as the space economy, in which regulatory scenarios are evolving rapidly.”
Stefano Mele adds: "In recent years, several departments of Gianni & Origoni have both witnessed and contributed to the significant growth of space and space economy-related deals. This is why we have chosen to combine, with synergistic effort, the skills needed to develop a specific practice area aimed at addressing the needs of this industry, which is destined to become increasingly strategic for both the national and international economy, confirming once again the firm’s constant eye on innovation."
