Gianni & Origoni wins at the 2024 Legalcommunity Energy Awards

January 26, 2024

Milan, January 26, 2024 - International law firm Gianni & Origoni was a multi-winner at the 2023 Legalcommunity Energy Awards. The firm received three awards: "Law Firm Of The Year Regulatory Antitrust” as well as “Thought Leadership” and “Lawyer of the Year Lng” both attributed to Giuseppe Velluto.

The ceremony, held in Milan, was an opportunity to celebrate the excellences of the legal market active in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Now in its eleventh edition, the event tributes those excellences, both individuals and teams, which during the year distinguished themselves most for reputation and activity in this field.
The jury motivated the award as follows:

Law Firm of the Year Regulatory Antitrust
The team of experienced and respected professionals dedicated to this matter has successfully assisted energy giants, mainly active in oil & gas and utilities, in cases of injunctive relief taken by the Agcm.

Thought Leadership - Giuseppe Velluto
He is one of the biggest players in the market, a quality recognized by colleagues and clients who consider him a true reference point. Also appreciated for his managerial skills, he became co-managing partner of the firm during 2023.

Lawyer Of The Year Lng - Giuseppe Velluto

The well-known lawyer provided assistance to one of the leading global asset managers in its acquisition of a majority stake in an Italian company, producer of bioliquefied natural gas. The nearly 100-million-euro deal includes the equity stake and a committed investment program.
