Rome, June 24, 2013 – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners announces the appointment of Oliviero Pessi as Of Counsel. Oliviero will join the Padua team on the 1st of September. With 25 lawyers active in various fields, the Padua office is among the most complete and consolidated legal offices in the Triveneto area.
Upon joining Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners, Oliviero will step down from his role of Central Director of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. where he held the position of Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs, since 2008.
49 year old Oliviero specializes in commercial and corporate law, both in and out of court, and during his career he has been a partner in key law firms operative on the national and international scene. From 2002 to 2008 he was a member of the Board of Directors of SAVE S.p.A., a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange which manages Venezia airport. On this Board he acted as lead independent director. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Telco S.p.A. and of the Board of Auditors of Assonime.
