Antonio Auricchio specialises in commercial, corporate and bankruptcy matters, as well as in litigation and arbitration proceedings, in both national and international scenarios. He also advises banks, financial institutions and companies on all aspects of contentious insolvency and restructuring proceedings.
He joined the firm in 1990 and became partner in 2000. He was Co-Managing Partner of the firm from 2014 to 2024. He is currently Co-Head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department and a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
After graduating in Law “maxima cum laude” from the University "Federico II" of Naples, Antonio studied at the Academy of American and International Law, University of Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.
He is a member of the Italian Bar and is qualified to appear in front of the Italian Supreme Court since 2008. He is also a member of the Italian Association for Arbitration, TMA Italy (Italian Association for Corporate Restructuring) and an alumnus of the Academy of American and International Law.
He writes for prominent law publications; his article “Expedited Debt Restructuring - An International Comparative Analisys”, was published by Kluver Law International and cited in the International Monetary Fund study: “Cleaning-up Bank Balance Sheets: Econimic, Legal and Supervisory Measures for Italy” (2016). Antonio is also the author of the chapter “Restructuring Agreements” in “Formulario delle Procedure Concorsuali” published by UTET, Wolters Kluwer Italia as well as of is the author of the chapter "Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law and Policy" of the book "The Law of International Insolvencies and Debt Restructuring". Furthermore, he was featured in interview published by “The In-House Lawyer: Comparative Guides” (2017) on the panorama of corporate litigation and arbitration proceedings in Italy. He is also the author of the chapter “Financing in corporate crisis” in the volume “Crisi d'impresa e piani di risanamento”, published by Giappichelli (2024).
