Antonio Auricchio specialises in corporate and insolvency litigation, as well as in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. He has gained significant experience in restructuring distressed companies within the context of insolvency proceedings, assisting both financial institutions and businesses.
Having joined our firm in 1990, Antonio became a Partner in 2000. He served as Co-Managing Partner from 2014 to 2024 and is currently Co-Head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
After graduating with honours in Law from the University of Naples “Federico II”, he studied at the Academy of American and International Law, University of Dallas, Texas, USA.
He is a member of the Italian Bar and is qualified to appear in front of the Italian Supreme Court since 2008. He is also a member of the Italian Association for Arbitration, TMA Italy (Italian Association for Corporate Restructuring) and an alumnus of the Academy of American and International Law.
He writes for prominent law publications; his article “Expedited Debt Restructuring – An International Comparative Analysis” was published by Kluwer Law International and cited in the International Monetary Fund’s study: “Cleaning-up Bank Balance Sheets: Economic, Legal and Supervisory Measures for Italy” (2016). He is also the author of the chapter “Restructuring Agreements” in the “Formulario delle Procedure Concorsuali” published by UTET, Wolters Kluwer Italia, and of the chapter “Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law and Policy” in the volume “The Law of International Insolvencies and Debt Restructuring”. He is also featured in an interview published by “The In-House Lawyer: Comparative Guides” (2017) on the landscape of corporate litigation and arbitration proceedings in Italy. He is the author of the chapter “Financing in Corporate Crisis”, in the volume “Corporate Crisis and Restructuring Plans”, published by Giappichelli (2024). He contributed to the volume “Gli Organi delle Procedure Concorsuali” published by Lefebvre Giuffrè (2026).
