Umberto Di Francia is a member of the Brussels Antitrust and Regulatory Department.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Umberto worked in the EU and Antitrust Practice of an international law firm in Brussels and at the European Commission (DG COMP), where he focused on State aids issues.
He obtained a double degree in Italian and French Law at Sorbonne University (Paris) and Florence University, and an LLM in EU Law at The Institute for European Studies in Brussels (IEE-ULB).
Umberto is a member of the Italian Bar.
He speaks Italian, French, English, and he has a good command of Spanish.
