Luigi Rizzo specializes in corporate and financial markets law, focusing especially on equity capital markets transactions and regulation of listed companies. His practice mainly includes takeover bids and capital increases, related party transactions, drafting of incentive plans, approval of share buyback program, corporate governance of listed companies, as well general advisory on corporate and commercial matters.
Moreover, Luigi advises industrial companies and venture capital funds in structuring and executing extraordinary transactions, domestic and cross-border, such as merger, demerger, acquisition, minority and majority investments, divestments and joint ventures.
He joined the Firm in 2023 after working at a leading international law firm and at an Italian boutique in Rome.
Luigi graduated in law, maxima cum laude, in October 2016 from Roma Tre University, conducting the thesis’ research at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford (UK). He subsequently gained a II level Master’s Degree in Business & Company Law at LUISS Guido Carli University.
He has been admitted to practice law in Italy in 2019 and is currently a member of the Italian Bar Association.
He speaks Italian and English.
