Stefano Cunico specialises in the energy and infrastructure sectors with specific regard to public law and regulatory. He has an extensive expertise on administrative procedures related to energy and infrastructure projects, public owned companies, project contracts, public and private procurements and project financing, state-owned, motorway, maritime and airport matters, expropriation, building, zoning and real estate contracts, both in case of litigation and of consulting.
Stefano has a broad expertise in energy and infrastructure development, from greenfield to commercial operation through construction and financing, both in the framework of public private partnerships and in the liberalised sectors. In the energy industry, he has been involved in several M&A transactions relating to renewables plants projects (wind, hydro, solar, biomasses) as well as major oil & gas infrastructures.
He also advises on Administrative Law issues involved in M&A, financing and IPO transactions.
Graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 2002, he attended the course Academy of American and International Law at Cailaw center of Dallas, Texas in 2008.
He writes for the journal “Edilizia e Territorio” on zoning and building matters.
He is a member of the Italian Bar. He is also entitled to act in front of the Superior Courts.
He speaks Italian and English.
