Raffaello Stefano De Marco has been working in Gianni & Origoni for more than 20 years and has developed great expertise over time in the intellectual property law sector, with an emphasis on new technologies, software, copyright, patents, trade secrets, trademarks, unfair competition as well as commercial agreements.
He advises Italian and foreign clients in acquiring, exploiting and protecting intellectual property rights. Raffaello Stefano provides practical day-by-day IP/IT support to clients in a number of industries and represents Italian and foreign business organizations in intellectual property and information technology litigation and arbitration proceedings, including patents, trade secrets, information technology and software disputes.
After graduating in Law “maxima cum laude” from the University “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” of Milan in 2000, he attended specialization courses at the London Guildhall University (UK) and at the London Metropolitan University (UK) and attended the 42nd Academy of American and International Law, Dallas (TX, USA) in 2005.
He is a speaker at workshops on intellectual property law and the author of numerous legal publications on, inter alia, Giurisprudenza Italiana, Il Diritto Industriale and Il Foro Padano. He is member of the Alumni Association of the Academy of American and International Law and of the ITechLaw Association.
He is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
He speaks Italian and English.
