Francesca Chiara Bevilacqua’s practice focuses on business crime, with an emphasis on corporate criminal liability pursuant to d. lgs. 231/2001.
Before joining the firm, Francesca worked in a prominent Italian corporate criminal law firm.
She graduated in Law from Bocconi University in 2003, and since then she has been collaborating with the Criminal Law chair.
Visiting research fellow at Columbia University Law School in 2006, she earned her Ph.D. in Law of Business and Commerce in 2008 at Bocconi University, where she was a lecturer in Criminal Law classes until 2016.
Francesca authored several publications on business crime, among which the book Responsabilità da reato ex d. lgs. 231/2001 e gruppi di società, Egea, 2010.
She is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
She is co-leader of the Italy Chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association.
She speaks Italian and English.
