Oliviero Pessi specializes in commercial and corporate law, both in and out of court, and during his career he has been a partner in key law firms operative on the national and international scene.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Oliviero was Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs for the Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. since 2008.
From 2002 to 2008 he was a member of the Board of Directors of SAVE S.p.A., a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange which manages Venezia’s airport. On this Board he acted as lead independent director. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Telco S.p.A. and of the Board of Auditors of Assonime.
He graduated in Law from the University of Padua and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 1991.
He speaks Italian and English.
