Cristina Capitanio assists Italian and foreign clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters and in all aspects of labour and employment law.
Cristina has gained specific experience in the areas of collective dismissals, restructuring and reorganisation, management agreements, self-employment relationships and contracts, disciplinary actions, and labour law litigation. In addition, Cristina provides ongoing assistance in the context of M&A transactions, both in relation to contractual aspects of labour law and in relation to trade union procedures where required by applicable regulations, as well as regarding management changes related to changes of control.
Cristina graduated in Law, with honours, in 1997 from the University LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and gained her LLM from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, United States, in 2002.
She was admitted to practice law in 2000 and has been a member of the Rome Bar Association ever since. In addition, Cristina is entitled to act in front of the Superior Courts since 2022.
She speaks Italian and English.
