Milan  -  The international law firm Gianni,  Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners has been awarded “Law Firm of  the Year” at the Top Legal Awards, the annual event that recognizes and  celebrates the top professionals in the legal sector.
It is the  second time in a row that the firm has been crowned with this  prestigious award. According to the Top Legal jury it “highlights the  ability of the firm to successfully attain its annual targets, among  which has been high profile lateral hiring. On the Italian front, the  firm assisted Cassa Depositi e Prestiti in its acquisition of a stake in  Snam and advised San Raffaele in the restructuring and sale of the  famous Milan hospital and research centre to new owner Rotelli.  Internationally, the firm has continued to grow, expanding and  developing its foreign desks.”
During the ceremony two of the  firm’s lawyers also received important, individual “professional of the  year” awards which further confirm the firm’s excellency and ability to  manage complex cases. In the field of Corporate law, Roberto Cappelli  won his award “for his long stream of successes, among which was the  Benetton delisting” while Gabriella Covino took home the award in field  of Restructuring “for having managed complex and multifaceted cases, of  great strategic importance for the market”. 
The Top Legal  Awards, which have now reached their 6th year, are a point of reference  for the legal market and are adjudicated by an independent panel  composed of General Counsels of leading companies and banks. These  awards follow other important tributes won by the firm during the year.
