Alberto Nanni and Antonella Capria Join Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners

May 06, 2009

Rome, May 6th 2009 – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners is delighted to announce the arrival of two new high-status Partners, Alberto Nanni and Antonella Capria.

Both lawyers joined the firm’s Milan offices from Allen & Overy accompanied by 11 associates; Alberto Nanni will strengthen the Litigation department while Antonella Capria will join the Administrative Law department. Following these hires, Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners now counts 55 Partners.

Alberto Nanni is one of the most esteemed experts in litigation, with a proven track record in both national and international proceedings. He trained with prestigious law firms and, in 1990, was among the founding Partners of Studio Casati e Associati which would later, in 1998, merge with the international law firm Allen & Overy.

Alberto’s support in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo will not be limited to litigation activities only but he will also assist the M&A department due to the consolidated contacts he has established with industrial companies, financial institutions and private equity funds.

Antonella Capria is widely known for her 30 year-expertise in the field of Environmental law. She has advised major Italian, European and US clients on environmental and administrative law issues, on corporate environmental policies, risk management as well as health and safety issues. As a market leader, she has coordinated research projects for the European Community, the Ministry of Environment and the National Research Council (CNR).

In Gianni, Origoni, Grippo and Partners’ Antonella will also collaborate with the Energy and Project Finance team and the M&A team on all environmental-related issues.

Managing Partner Tomaso Cenci states: “The outstanding expertise of the new Partners reflects the growth strategy that our firm is pursuing. We have, in fact, chosen to develop our practice areas with the best opportunities that the market can offer. Our goal, in line with our mission of excellence, is to continue to advise our clients more effectively and more efficiently.”
