Rome, March 10th, 2009 – During the Partners' Meeting held on the 7th of March, Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners has appointed five new partners: lawyers Emanuela Bertolli, Alessandra Giovetti, Emanuele Grippo, Luca Mastromatteo e Mauro Sambati.
Following these new nominations, the number of partners has risen to 53.
Emanuela Bertolli joined the Firm in 1994 and operates in the M&A/Corporate department in Milan. Specialised in mergers and acquisitions with particular reference to cross-border deals, Emanuela has gained a broad experience in company restructurings and reorganisations and also specialises in joint ventures, commercial and contract law as well as in legal assistance regarding the adoption and implementation of the Law Decree n.231/2001.
Alessandra Giovetti joined the Firm in 2007 and works in the Turin office. Specialized in insolvency and bankruptcy, Alessandra acquired an in-depth experience in matters related to company crisis and recovery, in legal transactions and operations concerning bankruptcy, in trial agreements and out of court settlements. She regularly assists Commissioners and Trustees in bankruptcy procedures concerning the disinvestment of assets, of leases and acquisition of company compounds in competitive, public procedures and in litigation judgement of the procedure. Alessandra also often covers the role of Commissioner in bankruptcy procedures and has matured a great experience in the field of litigation and advises in commercial and contract law.
Emanuele Grippo joined the Firm in 1999 and operates in the M&A/Corporate department in Milan. Emanuele is specialised in investment services, asset management, securities regulation and structured finance transactions as well as in extraordinary corporate transactions involving regulated companies, including those acting in the insurance sector.
Luca Mastromatteo joined the Firm in 2005 and operates in the M&A/Corporate department in Turin. Specialised in general corporate and contract law with particular reference to the distribution and agency agreements and in commercial contracts, Luca has assisted a number of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, as well as private equity funds in their investments in Italian start-up companies. He has also assisted Italian and foreign companies in reference to International Arbitration.
Mauro Sambati joined the Firm in 2000 and operates in the M&A/Corporate department in Rome. Specialised in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance of private and listed companies, corporate and commercial law, Mauro has acquired a significant experience in the acquisition and divestment of share packages and going concerns, leveraged buyout transactions and private equity deals as well as in the drafting of share purchase agreements and related transaction documents, including shareholders’ agreements and commercial contracts.
