Rome, August 5, 2024 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni is pleased to announce the appointment of 2 new Non-Equity Partners and 6 new Senior Counsels.
Rodrigo Boccioletti and Luigi Maraghini Garrone have both been promoted to Non-Equity Partners.
Based at the Bologna office, Rodrigo Boccioletti, who joined GOP in 2004, specialises in corporate and commercial law with particular focus on M&A and private equity. He is part of the GOP4Venture focus team created to offer legal assistance for venture capital, in which he regularly assists industrial companies, entrepreneurs, investment funds, family businesses, business angels both with reference to the investment phase (also through crowdfunding) and with reference to the subsequent exit phase.
Based at the Milan office, Luigi Maraghini Garrone, who joined GOP in 2014, specialises in corporate and commercial law and handles M&A and joint ventures in various industrial sectors with a particular focus on infrastructures and renewable energy. He currently assists private equity and infrastructure funds, industrial companies and family offices in both the investment and divestment phases as well as in the consolidation and development stages. He is also part of the ESG focus team in charge of legal assistance in sustainability and of the GOP4Venture focus team in charge of legal assistance in venture capital.
As part of its established policy of rewarding those colleagues who have demonstrated excellent professional skills and are considered strategic assets within the firm, the following have been promoted to the category of Senior Counsel: Gaetano Alfarano (expert in administrative law, urban planning and construction), Andrea Bazuro (expert in corporate finance, equity capital markets and public M&A), Federico Botta (expert in M&A, private equity, leverage buy-out, venture capital), Ludovica Di Paolo Antonio (expert in corporate law and M&A), Alessio Palumbo (expert in structured finance), Maria Panetta (expert in project financing).
