Richard is Counsel at Gianni & Origoni’s Hong Kong office and a partner of our associate Hong Kong law firm, Eviana Leung & Partners. He has been working in China and Hong Kong since 1988. Richard is admitted to practice in Hong Kong and England & Wales and previously was licensed to practice in China as a Registered Foreign Lawyer.
Originally trained as a corporate and M&A lawyer in Hong Kong, he has extensive experience advising clients on both sides of the HK-mainland China border. Richard is the go-to specialist sought by stakeholders for corporate restructuring, commercialization of technology and relocating production to and from China.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Richard practiced law as a partner at several leading international law firms in China and Hong Kong.
He speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
