Antonio Congiusta works with the Energy and Infrastructure Department, focusing on M&A transactions and domestic and international commercial agreements in the field of energy, oil and gas (e.g., PPA, VPPA, supply of gas, shareholder agreements) as well as energy performance contracts (e.g., EPC, O&M).
He provides his legal assistance to Italian and foreign companies, both in national and cross-border transactions.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Antonio worked for the Rome’s office of an international law firm where he gained experience also in the fields of structured finance – with specific reference to the issuance of debt securities process – and insurance, providing both judicial and out of court assistance.
Recently, Antonio performed an important and formative secondment experience with a leading international energy company, during which he provided assistance to in-house professionals in drafting and negotiating deals in the renewable energy and gas sector.
Antonio graduated in Law, cum laude, in 2018 from the University LUISS "Guido Carli" of Rome with a thesis on corporate law. While attending University, he participated in an Erasmus Program at Stockholm University, Faculty of Law.
He is a member of the Italian Bar.
He speaks Italian and English.
