Yujing Liu is a foreign partner at GOP’s Shanghai office and specializes in cross-border Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions transactions. She has represented clients in the region’s most complicated M&A transactions as well as Chinese investors’ most noted overseas investments, involving industries such as TMT, biotech and pharma, consumer, industrial, and renewable energy. She also has extensive experience in assisting multinational companies with general corporate and compliance matters in China.
Yujing has consistently been the go-to lawyer for some of the region’s most complicated PE/M&A transactions. She was named “Rising Star” in China Corporate M&A and China Private Equity by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022, 2023 & 2024, and by IFLR1000 Asia Pacific 2023 & 2024. Prior to joining GOP, Yujing worked at a leading U.S. firm in Beijing and Shanghai.
Yujing graduated from Hofstra University in New York with a Juris Doctor, and she also holds a Bachelor of Law from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
Yujing is admitted to the New York State Bar and holds a non-practicing PRC law license.
She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
