Vittorio Franzese works as Counsel lawyer in the firm’s Shanghai office.
His main specializations are M&A, Corporate and Commercial Law, and IP, in the context of China-Europe inbound and outbound cross-border transactions.
Established in China since 2014, he worked for a prestigious American law firm in Beijing before moving to Shanghai, where he is currently based, in 2017. In Shanghai, after a brief collaboration with an Italian boutique consulting firm, he joined Gianni & Origoni in 2018 and remained in the Firm’s Shanghai office until 2022. Then, working for three years with another American law firm, he went back to GOP in 2025.
Thanks to these experience, he developed a deep knowledge of the Chinese market. In Italy, he has been previously part, both as a trainee and later a as qualified lawyer, of a law firm in Bari, dealing with commercial law.
He graduated with full grades in Law at University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, and he achieved a postgraduate Masters Degree in corporate law at Il Sole 24 Ore Business School in Rome.
He is a member of the Italian Bar Association.
He speaks Italian, English, French, Chinese and Spanish.
