Maria Loizzi is an expert in administrative and environmental law. Maria has gained significant experience in the PPP sector (Public-Private Partnership), project financing and restructuring, with a specific focus on public infrastructures, assisting sponsors and lenders and financial institutions in the most important deals in the infrastructure sector (in particular in the motorway sector, hospital, rapid mass transport). Furthermore, Maria has also acquired a broad expertise in the energy sector, providing consultancy in the context of numerous projects in the field of conventional and renewable sources (in particular in the field of energy efficiency, photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric and biomass) with reference to the authorization issues, to the negotiation of the project contracts (with the sponsor, the lenders, the Public Authorities) and the due diligence activity.
She is a regular lecturer at seminars on project financing and energy.
She graduated in law, maxima cum laude, from the University of Bari in 2001.
She is a member of the Italian Bar since 2004.
She speaks Italian and English.
