Raimondo Premonte specialises in M&A and Corporate Law, advising domestic and multinational corporations, investment banks, private equity funds in M&A transactions, public tender offers and other stock exchange transactions in a variety of industries, such as telecommunications, renewable energy, information technology, fashion, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, consumer products, and real estate.  He advises in the context of tender offers and reorganizations or mergers of corporations listed on the Milan and overseas stock exchanges, and in recent years has been involved in some of the major high profile transactions concerning Italian and non-Italian listed companies.
After graduating in Law from the University of Rome in 1992, he attended the Visiting Scholar & Research Fellow Program at Columbia University Law School in 1993/1994.
Raimondo joined the firm in 1995 and from 1998 to 2000 he served as general counsel to a corporation listed on the Milan stock exchange.
From 2000 to 2003 Raimondo was a senior associate at the firm’s New York offices. During the same period he was also a sessional lecturer in Corporate Law at the Faculty of Law, New York University.
Raimondo became a partner in the firm in 2005.
He is a member of Italian Bar and is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales. He's also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Foreign Law Association and the International Bar Association.
He speaks Italian and English.
