Kathleen Lemmens is a Partner at the Milan office of Gianni & Origoni. Her practice focuses on M&A, private equity, venture capital, strategic commercial contracts, corporate governance and shareholder disputes.
She is part of the Sanctions Task Force and co-heads the Diversity initiatives of the Firm. She is a contract professor M&A at the LLM Law of Internet Technology at the Bocconi University.
Kathleen obtained an undergraduate degree in law (candidature en droit) at the Université Notre Dame de la Paix (Namur, Belgium) and graduated in law at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). She also studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin (Germany) and has obtained a master in corporate finance from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium).
Kathleen joined the firm in 2009 after having worked at a leading international law firm, in Italy and in Belgium. She is dually qualified as a Belgian and Italian lawyer and admitted to the Brussels and Milan Bar.
She speaks Italian, English, French, Dutch and German.
