Paolo Dominis specialises in corporate and insolvency litigation. He has a wide experience in the restructuring field, advising both companies in financial difficulties and financial institutions involved in turnaround deals.
Paolo has been recently involved in: assisting a leading industrial and snow chains manufacturer in its successful restructuring through a court driven settlement with creditors (concordato preventivo); assisting a major chemical company in filing for the admission to Amministrazione Straordinaria (a special insolvency proceedings available to major companies); assisting two companies which produce luxury yachts in the opening of their concordato preventivo proceedings and in the subsequent form approval by the Court; assisting a listed company managing one of the major Italian airports in dealing with air carriers in financial difficulties and in assisting the client in several proceedings – including claw-back actions – brought by the receivers of said air carriers following their formal declaration of insolvency.
Before joining the firm in 2010, Paolo worked for more than eight years with a leading international law firm.
He graduated in Law in 1998 from the University of Padua, where he also attended a post lauream yearly course focused in litigation matters.
He is a member of the Padua Bar Association.
Paolo is co-author of articles related to debt restructuring published in English-language specialised reviews.
He speaks Italian and English.
