Giulia Staderini is experienced in law and regulation applying to listed companies, in particular in compliance with transparency duties for what concerns major holdings and takeover bids, both voluntary and mandatory.
She has been working from 1990 to 2017 at Consob, the Italian Supervisory Authority for the financial products market, in Takeover Bids and Ownership Structures Office within the Corporate Governance Department. In particular she has been Manager of the Takeover Bids Office from 2011 till August, 2016.
She participated as national expert in several International Working Groups and Task Forces within ESMA and she was member of the Italian delegation within the European Council for the approval process of The Transparency Directive (Directive 2004/109/EC).
She has been a Board Member of listed companies and, since 2023, she’s a member of the COMI, Committee of Market Operators and Investors, at Consob.
She graduated in Political Science in 1989 at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
She speaks Italian, English and French.
