Martina Ortillo advises Italian and multinational corporations, in the fields of information technology and data protection law related to several specific areas, collaborating with Corporate, M&A, Labour Law, Intellectual Property, Litigation and Banking departments, with particular reference to commercial operations and contractual matters related to data protection, with focus on websites and apps, cookies, marketing activities and e-commerce, cross-border transfers of personal data.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni in 2011, she worked both for the IP department of a prestigious international law firm and for an important legal boutique with offices in Spain, specialized in Industrial and Intellectual Property.
Martina graduated in Law in 2010 at the State University of Milan, with final dissertation on the civil liability for the violation of EU and national competition law, and experienced a study period in European and international law at the University of Oviedo (Spain).
She is both qualified as a Spanish and Italian lawyer and admitted to the Madrid and Milan Bar from 2011.
She speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
